States around the country are looking for more energy. That’s no secret. They see demand rising and are looking for options to meet the need. As New York searches for solutions, they are considering Nuclear, which gives us this news:

And they’re not alone. As the rubber now meets the road and it turns out that shutting down power plants before building and powering their replacements to generate the load and supply enough power was in fact a terrible idea, we are seeing lots of u-turns in policy:

Notice how all those projects are outside of NJ? The fundamental question remains, where is our state going to get new generation from (without buying it from someone else)?

But unfortunately as AENJ continues to point out, instead of doing something to find an answer, NJ is watching as our leaders are instead pointing fingers in all directions except the one they should, at themselves. And until they take responsibility to move in a new direction, it appears nothing will change.
