When you’re wrong, you’re wrong. And the only way to address the mistakes you made that took you in the wrong direction is to change the actions you take going forward.
But before changing direction, the first step to fix a problem is admit you have one and that is what the EU has done when it comes to nuclear:

Many European countries are fast tracking nuclear to help meet demand. Last summer, the World Economic Forum took a look at where we are seeing the most nuclear growth around the globe:
We see country after country reversing course when it comes to nuclear. The question we at AENJ have is what are we going to do here in our own state?
Will we also recognize the strategic mistake of phasing out baseload energy like nuclear without having anything to replace it? Will we build more nuclear to help meet the growing need we already have?
Because if we want to start fixing the energy problems we have, we need do what the rest of the world is now doing to start making different decisions that take us in a new direction.
