We get it, our leaders would rather repeat their talking points than take a look at what is really going on.
But at AENJ, we would be remiss if we just accepted the blame game as doing enough. We wanted to point out a few recent headlines that lay out the state of play when it comes to energy here, here and here:
Instead of seeing the headlines like these and coming up with solutions to actually be able to meet demand on our own again, our leaders are too busy arguing about whether it is constitutional or not to freeze things at the current high rates.
Let’s make this clear: Freezing your bill doesn’t create more energy. And if we’re not creating more base load energy, we’re not going to be able to meet the growing demand. Which means we’re not only not fixing the problem, but that we are guaranteeing it will get worse. That doesn’t seem sustainable.
