NY to Ban Gas/Propane Equipment in 2025
New York is planning to take action next week phase out the use of natural gas in all homes and commercial buildings across the state. According to the Buffalo News:
But many are questioning how the pie in the sky ideas with made up timelines can meet the actually reality of the needed demand and cost involved with delivering it:
Just as we are seeing here in New Jersey, New York is ignoring the clear facts because they undermine their preferred politically driven outcomes instead of utilizing science based ones.
And as our fair state is doing, NY is also going to take this action despite alternative energy options not being ready to meet the demand and the infrastructure not prepared to hold up. Goals won’t sound as good when people are sitting in the dark, aren’t able to cook their dinner or clean their clothes.
